Biography
Arthur was born in about June 1868 in Tollard Royal, Wiltshire. He was the son of Joseph Alner and Louisa (Bennett) Alner.[1]
On 2 April 1871 Arthur was living in Tollard St., Tollard Royal.[2]
On 3 April 1881 Arthur was employed as an Agricultural labourer.
On 3 April 1881 Arthur was living in Manor Rise, Sedgehill.[3]
On 5 April 1891 Arthur was employed as a Blacksmith.
On 5 April 1891 Arthur was living in High St., Overton.[4]
Arthur married Sarah Ann Taylor in about September 1894 in Droxford, Hants. The couple had one child: Alice Louisa Alner.[5]
On 31 March 1901 Arthur was living at 6 River View, Christchurch, Woking.[6]
On 31 March 1901 Arthur was employed as a Blacksmith.
On 2 April 1911 Arthur was living in New Road, Chilworth , Surrey.[7]
On 2 April 1911 Arthur was employed as a Shoeing & Jobbing Smith (Gunpowder Works).
Arthur died in about September 1925 in Guildford.[8]
