Note: The birth date above does not tally with the birth dates on the censuses below or the burial record. Either Edward was being economical with the truth about his age (quite likely as his wife Mary would be a lot younger than him) - or this is another Edward Alsop, not the son of Thomas and Mary Alsop, whose birth was not recorded as I cannot find another Edward born around 1784-1786 in Napton.
