Biography
John, son of Anthonie and Elnor Alsop of Alsop in the Dale was baptised on 1 Dec 1639 at Carsington,[1] and John son of Anthony Allsop was baptised on 1 Jan 1639/40 in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.[2]
John was listed as the son and heir of Anthony Alsop in 1662. He was married to Katherine Cope of Fenny Bentley.[3]
