Matthew Alston is a part of US Black heritage.
In the 1900 census Mathew (age 3) was the single son of Benjamin Alstin in Fishing Creek Township, Warren, North Carolina, United States.[1]
In the 1910 census Matthew (age 13) was the single son of Ben Alston in Fishing Creek, Warren, North Carolina, United States.[2]
Research Notes
Possible sources:
- A Matthew Alston died in February 1952.[3]
- A different Matthew died in March 1967 in Cinnaminson Township, Burlington, New Jersey, United States.[4]
There are also records for a Mathew Alston who married Helen Bailey in 1918.[5]
The one who married in Virginia is not this Mathew.[6]
