William Alston was a widower when he married the widow, Frances Moor-Briscoe.
The 1st husband of Frances, Edmund Briscoe, died six months earlier on 16th March, 1876. [1]
Frances then married widower William Alston of Tatham parish on 20 November 1786 in Ingleton, Yorkshire. [2]
Sadly their marriage only last for about 2 years as William died on 1st May, 1789. [3] in Waddington, Yorkshire, England.
