Biography
When Lucetta Alter was born on August 22, 1807, her father, Henry, was 22, and her mother, Maria, was 21. She married Henry Alter Ritner on May 1, 1827, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. They had eight children in 21 years. She died on April 17, 1888, in Danville, Iowa, having lived a long life of 80 years, and is buried there.
