Biography
Ann Altham was born in Lancashire, England.
Ann Appleton Altham was born in 1879 to Richard and Susan Altham (née Memery),[1] and Christened on 9 February 1879 in Fleetwood, Lancashire.[2]
She spent several years of her early childhood living in Staffordshire, where her father worked as an accountant either in or close to Handsworth.[3] They then moved to Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, after her father became an accountant for the Birmingham Canal Navigations,[4] where Ann died at age 13 in 1892.[5]
