Ellen (Althorpe) Fearn was born in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.

When Ellen Maria Althorpe was born on September 28, 1866, her father, Thomas, was 36, and her mother, Susan, was 30. [1]

She was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Kettering on 26 Apr 1868. [2]

In 1871, Ellen was 4 years old and living in Market Harborough, Northamptonshire. She was a scholar[3]

in 1881, Ellen was living in Bowling, Yorkshire and she was 14 years old. She was working as a Worsted Spinner [4]

In 1891, Ellen was living in Oban Street, New Found Pool, Leicestershire and she was 24 years old. [5]

Later that year, Ellen married William Fearn on 1 June 1895 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England [6]

Birth of Son: Charles William Fearn was born on July 30, 1895, in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Birth of Son: George Arthur Fearn was born on April 21, 1898, in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Birth of Son: Ernest Sydney Fearn was born on October 14, 1901, in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Birth of Daughter: Rhoda Blanche Fearn was born on October 10, 1903, in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Her Arrival to Canada on the Vessel: Corsican on 19 Dec 1913 • Port of Arrival: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Port of Departure: Liverpool, England[7]

Death of Husband: Her husband Charles Wm Fearn passed away on March 19, 1918, in St Thomas, Ontario, at the age of 47.

Death of Ellen Maria Althorp died on April 17, 1925, in St Thomas, Ontario, when she was 58 years old and was buried in Rodney, Ontario, Canada.
