Biography

George was born in 1906.

Residence (1910) rented farm on Pike Road in Jackson Township, York, Pennsylvania Elmer W. (age 28, tenant farmer) and Annetta Altland (30, mother of four, all living), Esther "Marie" (9), Raymond Michael (8), George Washington (4) and Harvey Peter Altland (2), as well as Michael Gantz Father-in-law (62, hand on the home farm).^[1]

Residence (1920) owned farm in Jackson Township, York, Pennsylvania Elmer W. (age 38, farmer), Annette (39), Esther M. (18), Raymond M. (17, sawyer in furniture factory), George W. (13), Harvey P. (11) and Mary P. Altland (8).^[2]

He passed away in 2005.
