When Mary Caroline Aultman was born in January 1871 in Walkerville, Ontario, Canada, her father, Nicholas, was 23, and her mother, Mary, was 22. She married George Washington COOK on August 16, 1890, in Flint, Michigan. They had four children in 10 years. She died on June 3, 1944, in Flint, Michigan, at the age of 73, and was buried there.

A dinner was served. A picture was taken of four generations, the great-grandmother being Mrs. C. M. Altman of Mundy-twp. The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. George W. Cook of Millington; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dudney and family, of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Dorothy Altman and son, George D. Altman of Gaines; Mrs. C. M. Altman of Mundy-twp.

Fall at Residence Leads to Death
Mrs. Mary C. Cook, 73, of 4305 S. Linden Rd., died Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital of complications from a fall at her home Thursday in which she received a hip fracture. Funeral services will be at 9 A.M. Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Church, the Rev. Fr. Louis Gauthier officiating. The body will be at the home until services.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Mrs. Cook had been a Flint area resident since she was 10 years old. In 1890, she was married to George W. Cook, then of Bay city.
Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Theresa Dudney, 4305 S. Linden Rd., and Mrs. Florence Pohr, 6489 E. Coldwater Rd.; three sisters, Miss Anna Altman, Mrs. Ezra Teachout, both of Flint, Mrs. Teressa Rancour, Detroit; brother, H. N. Altman, Flint, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
