Biography
Myrtle R. Alverson was born on April 25, 1890,[1] in St Clair, Alabama to Henry and Ella.[2] She married James Wesley Barker on July 8, 1906, in her hometown, she was 16 years old.[3][4] He died on April 12, 1949 and Myrtie died on February 6, 1971, in Birmingham, Alabama, at the age of 80, and was buried in Wattsville, Alabama.[5]
