Biography
Mary (Polly) Alvis was born on November 6, 1816, in Kentucky, her father, David Alvis and her mother, Eleanor (McKinley) Alvis. She married Aaron Martin on April 27, 1837, in Washington, Indiana. She died on January 7, 1893, in Indiana and was buried in Martinsburg Cemetery, Martinsburg, Washington County, Indiana.
