Biography
Martha Alvord, born 23 Nov 1820 at Southport, Connecticut, was the second child of Morris Alvord and Elizabeth Burr.
She married 22 May 1848 @ Southport, Connecticut, Henry Marsh Hine [b. 18 Jul 1816 @ New Milford, CT, son of Anan & Almira (Marsh) Hine; d, 1896 @ Englewood, NJ]. They had one child:
- Martha Alvord Hine, b. 5 May 1849 @ Bridgeport, Connecticut; unmarried
Martha (Alvord) Hine passed away one week after giving birth, 12 May 1849 at Bridgeport [1]. Her grave is in Old West Cemetery, Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA [2].
