Biography
William Alanson Alvord, born near Lockport, New York, was the third child of Theo Alvord and Elizabeth Briggs.
He married 7 Apr 1849 in Battle Creek, Michigan, Caroline Louisa Moore [b. 23 Dec 1830 in New York State, daughter of Arvilla (Newton) Moore; d. 9 Dec 1905 @ Detroit, Michigan]. They had 9 children:
