Biography
Lydia Alvord was baptized 22 Aug 1732 or 1733 in Sunderland, Massachusetts [1],[2] (duplicate record may indicate uncertainty on the earlier date). She was the first child of Lydia (Billings) Alvord (abt.1710-1745) and Josiah Alvord (1704-).
Lydia married 12 Jul 1753 Thomas Arms [3] [b. 22 Jan 1729 @ South Deerfield, Massachusetts, son of William & Rebecca (Nash) Arms; d. 7 Aug 1808 @ Deerfield, Massachusetts] [4]. They had 10 children, all born in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, their ninth of whom died in infancy:
- Lucy Arms, b. 17 Oct 1773
Lydia (Alvord) Arms died 15 Nov 1802 in Deerfield. Her grave is in Sugarloaf Street Cemetery, South Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts, USA [5].
