Biography
Sylvia Alvord, born June 1839 in Marion, Missouri, was the fifth child of Sally Celestina Briggs (1803-1851), the third wife of Thaddeus Alvord (1781-1874).
Sylvia Alvord died in infancy, September 1839, near Quincy, Illinois.
