This Jonathan Alvord was born in 1712 at Northampton, Massachusetts, the eighth child Jonathan Alvord and Thankful Miller.
Note: This Jonathan Alvord may be confused with Jonathan Alvord (1711-1784), who was a son of Mary (Strong) & Thomas Alvord, born also at Northampton, and living contemporaneously.
Per the Alvord genealogy, Jonathan Alvord passed away 6 Oct 1796 @ Westhampton, Massachusetts.
Notes
A F-A-G site for the other Jonathan Alvord (mentioned in the above cautionary note), in its caption represents that it pertains to widower of three wives-- Elizabeth Sanford, Elizabeth Goslin, and Mary Smith [10]. This highly doubtful, and probably a result of the indicated confusion.
