Biography
Keziah Alvord, born 7 may 1787 at Northampton, Massachusetts, was the fourth child of Timothy Alvord and Keziah French.
She married 16 Jun 1812 (intent published) at Northampton, Joseph Gouch of Northampton [b. 1786, son of Moses & Eleanor (Judd) Gouch; d. 20 Mar 1868, Hinckley, Medina County, Ohio]. They had 4 children, their first three born at Northampton:
- Sophronia Gouch; married ___ Williams; d. 1876 in Michigan
- Joseph Gouch, b. 11 May 1820; d. 17 Feb 1905, Hinckley, Ohio
- Clarissa Gouch, b. 1823; d. 18 May 1880, Hinckley, Ohio
- Keziah Gouch, b. 12 Jun 1828; married John Merchant
Per the Alvord genealogy, The Gouch and Kellogg families lived side by side on Hinckley Ridge, where they located in 1825.
Keziah (Alvord) Gouch passed away 17 Sep 1849 at Hinckley, Ohio.
