Hannah Alvord, born 22 Dec 1820 in Easton, Pennsylvania, was the second child of Thomas Alvord and Mary Doane.
She married Augustus Clark Marsh (1806-1864) on 26 Aug 1846 in Cincinnati, Ohio, [b. 26 Oct 1806, Montague, Massachusetts, son of Zimri & Creusa (Hubbard) Marsh; d. 6 Apr 1864, Quincy, Illinois] (this probably was his second marriage). They had 2 children, born at Quincy, Illinois:
Hannah (Alvord) Marsh passed away probably in September 1871.
An online memorial site depicts a commemorative stone to Augustus C. Marsh in Woodland Cemetery, Quincy, Adams County, Illinois [1]. Its side panel is inscribed w/o A.C.. The side panel is difficult to read from the depicted image, but the banner panel of the website represents her death data as 8 Sep 1871, at La Prairie, Illinois. The combined information implies that Hannah's grave may not be in this same cemetery in Quincy.
The Mary Emily (Marsh) Schermerhorn (1838–1865) whose memorial site is linked to this same Augustus C. Marsh, most likely was his daughter via his first marriage.
