Biography

Ray Montijo Amarias, son of Jesus Amarias and Antonia Montijo, was born on 19 Jan. 1893 at San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California.[1] He appeared on the census of 14 June 1900 in the home of his parents at San Bernardino Ward 2, San Bernardino, California.[2]

He married Dorothy Elizabeth (Husser) McKee, daughter of John Charles Husser and Carrie Arvilla (Porter) Husser, on 5 Sep. 1939 at Santa Ana, Orange County, California.[3]

He was a laundry wash man at a steam laundry when he and Dorothy appeared on the census of 2 April 1940 at San Bernardino, San Bernardino, California.[4] Ray and Dorothy were divorced circa 1958.[5]

Ray died on 14 Oct. 1973 at Los Angeles County, California.[6]
