Biography
Stephen was born 19 January 1758, the son of John Ambler and Sarah Weed.[1]
He was killed at Bedford 11 Jul 1779 at the burning of Bedford by Tarleton. He was buried in the Indian Cemetery 2 miles west of South Salem Village.
