Biography

Elizabeth was born say 1725.

Mr. Elisha Biscoe [the younger] was son of a Mr. Elisha Biscoe [husband of this Elisabeth Ambler], member of the Inner Temple, living in Bedford Row, who had married Miss Elizabeth Ambler, daughter of Humphrey Ambler, Esquire, of Stubbings , near Maidenhead. Mr. Biscoe owned a property called the Manor House, at Sonning, which his father had bought at the death of the owner, Sir Thomas Rich, ca 1762, and which was afterwards sold in 1795.^[1]
