Biography
Ingelger I d'Amboise, seigneur d'Amboise, Bléré, Montrichard & Chevreuse was the son of Pierre d'Amboise and Jeanne de Chevreuse.
He married, firstly before 1330, Marie de Flandre, daughter of Jean de Flandre de Dendermonde and Béatrix de Châtillon. They had two children:
- Jeanne, married Charles de Trie de Dammartin
- Marguerite, m Pierre de Sainte-Maure.
He married secondly, before 1656 Isabelle de Thouars, comtesse de Dreux, widow of Guy de Nesle de Mello. They had children:
- Pierre II, seigneur d'Amboise
- Ingelger II, seigneur de Rochecorbon.
Ingelger died before 1373.
