Elizabeth was born in 1823. She was the daughter of Benjamin Ambrose and Ann Shearer. She married Samuel Sloan Mateer in Aug 1843.[1] They had a large family.[2][3][4][5]
Elizabeth outlived her husband. She passed away in 1903.[6]
