Biography
Jesse was born on June 1822 in Russell County, VA. He was the son of Robert Amburgey and Elizabeth Fuller. He married Rachel B. Cornett on November 12, 1843 in Letcher County, KY. They had 9 children. They must have divorced. He married Martha Bates on April 27, 1895 in Knott County, KY. They had a daughter. He passed away in 1900 in Letcher County, KY.
