Rollie was born on November 9, 1908 in Menifee County, KY. He was the son of Floyd Amburgey and Nora Lawson. He married Grace Henderson on December 1, 1934 in Middletown, OH. They had 3 children. He passed away on October 31, 1979 in Middletown, OH. He was buried in Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin, OH.
