Biography
Irene Lydia Pearl Amelung was born 1 Nov 1922 in Granite City, Madison County, Illinois, to Edwin Martin Johann Gustav Amelung and Maria "Minnie" Wilhelmine Louise Kahle.[1][2] On 30 Jun 1945, she married Dr. Paul Frank Norbet, Sr. and they had two children.
Irene died on 8 May 2014, at the age of 91, in Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois, and is buried in the Green Mount Protestant Cemetery.[2]
