HENRY AMEND HOSKINS, Neb: Special: Funeral services for Henry Amend, 91, Hoskins, retired farmer, who died Tuesday in Norfolk hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran church here. Rev. G. B. Frank, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in a Norfolk cemetery. Mr. Amend was born September 10, 1870, in Russia. Mr. and Mrs. Amend were married 73 years ago last January. They have lived in the Hoskins community many years. He is survived by the widow; two sons, John and George, both of Hoskins, five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller of Oakland, Ore. ; Mrs. Kathryn Hohneke and Mrs. Paul Marquardt, both of Hoskins, Miss Mary Amend of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Minnie Carr of Norfolk; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.[1]
