LESLIE AMERINE DIES IN ACCIDENT
Leslie David Amerine, 25, of Independence was killed in a one-car accident early Saturday morning when his car overturned on a Montgomery County road. Born in Eureka, he moved to Independence in early childhood. Amerine, a painter, was alone in the car, which failed to make a curve north of Independence and went into a ditch throwing him out. He was dead on arrival at the Mercy Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann, a son, Jeffery and a daughter, Denise, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley D. Amerine, Independence; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dimick of Eureka.
