Grace Ames was born^[1] in Islesboro, Maine, 29 September 1790, to Jabez Ames and Jane Gilkey.

Grace married Abiezer Veazie (1787-1839)^[2], ^[3] about 1809, Abiezer Veazie.

Grace Veazie died Dec 29, 1851, aged 62 yrs, 3 mos, probably in Camden, Maine.^[4] Her headstone^[5] reads: "GRACE / Wife of Abiezer Veazie / Died 29 Dec 1851 / AE 62 yrs 3mos." She is buried in Mount View Cem., plot: Sec 5 Lot 91, Camden, Knox Co., Maine.
