Biography
Horatio B Ames was born on June 27, 1820, in Connecticut, the son of Julina and Unknown. He married Caroline Roots on February 1, 1843, in Kent, Connecticut. They had seven children in 13 years. He died on December 18, 1899, in Mill Village, Pennsylvania, having lived a long life of 79 years. Horace is buried at Mackey Hill Cemetery in Mill Village, Erie County, Pennsylvania, USA,
