Biography

John Amick was born on October 31, 1777, in Bucks, Pennsylvania, to Johann Goerge Emig and Anne Marie (Rudsill). He married Anne Marie Brill in 1798 in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Joun was a wagon maker. They had nine children. He died on November 29, 1844, in Monroe, Pennsylvania, at the age and was buried in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
