Biography
Marie (Amirault) Bourque is a descendant of an Acadian
Marie Therese Amirault was the daughter of Gervais Amirault and Francoise Babin.[1]
She was born May 12, 1889 in Amirault's Hill, Nova Scotia.[1]
She married Joseph Arthur Bourque, the son of Gabriel Bourque and Ursule Saulnier, on January 10, 1912 in Amirault's Hill.[2]
The couple had at least 5 children:
1. Joseph Eugene born September 28, 1912[3]
2. Francois Amadee born August 9, 1914[4]
3. Therese Emilie Precille born October 1, 1917[5]
4. Anne Rita born in 1920[6]
5. Mary Rita born in 1922[7]
Marie Therese died May 10, 1961 at the Yarmouth Hospital in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia[1], and was buried May 13, 1961 in Amirault's Hill.[1]
