Joseph was born on 10 September 1774 and privately baptized by Marie Daigre. He was baptized with full ceremony on 15 October 1774 in Baie-Sainte-Marie. [1] He is the son of Basile Amirault and Marguerite Doucet. His sponsors were Joseph Doucet and Marie LeBlanc.
He married Anne Doucet on 19 August 1800 in Pointe-de-l'Église. [2]
He married Marguerite Saulnier.
He was alive as of March 20, 1850, when he conveyed land in Clare to Ambrose Duffy.[3]
