Bennie Joseph Amirault was the son of Dennis Geoffry Amirault and Bertha Adelaide Duon.[1]
He was born April 26, 1910 in West Pubnico, Nova Scotia.[1]
He served in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War. Following the war, he sailed the world aboard the merchant ship Vima. [2]
He married twice.[2]
His first marriage was to Dorilda Genevieve d'Entremont.[2]
His second marriage was to Mary Ellen Corder.[2]
Bennie Joseph died May 30, 2000 in Halifax, Nova Scotia[2] , and was buried in the St. Pierre Parish Cemetery in West Pubnico.[2]
