Biography

Magdaleine Amiraut was born born 4 March 1697 , she was baptized on day of her birth by Jean le Roy and was baptised by Felix Pain 23 May 1705. Her godparents were Charles Muise de Poubomkou and Magdelaine Muise de Poubomkou.[1]

Magdelaine Amiraut married Jean Comeau son of Pierre Comeau and Jeanne Bourg, on 3 Oct 1719 in Port Royal.[2][3] They had nine children:

  3. Gregoire [dit Mondou] COMEAU ca 1723-1757
  4. Francoise COMEAU †
  5. Elisabeth COMEAU ca 1727-ca 1757
  6. Michel COMEAU 1733-ca 1804
  7. Raphael COMEAU ca 1736-
  8. Charles COMEAU ca 1738-1805
  9. Joseph COMEAU ca 1742-1757

Madeleine died 17 Oct 1757 in Quebec, Canada and was buried there the next day.

She was 12 years old when a census was made of Cape Sable, Acadia in 1708. [4]
