Ann (Amis) Aycock was a Georgian.

Nancy Ann (Amis) Aycock was born about 1811 in Georgia, United States, daughter of Thomas Amis (1784 - 1858) and Sarah Elizabeth (Wynne) Amis (1784 - ~1865).

Her Father's Will and Probate
In his Will, he specifies that each of his children are to receive one thousand dollars each in property, both real and personal. The children are named in the Will as Elizabeth Trammell, Mary Brooks, Nancy Aycock, William Amis, Amanda Martin, Joseph Amis, John L. Amis, Lucy Smith, Thomas Amis, Sarah Smith, Frances Watters and Lewis Amis. His wife, Sara, was also mentioned and recieved a sum equal to the share of one child, plus the home and 200 acres of land. The children also received the sum of one thousand dollars each, in addition to he amount already advanced them. He appointed all of his sons, William, Joseph, John L., Thomas and Lewis, Executors of his Will. It was signed and dated 29 March 1851. It was recorded after his death on 11 October 1858.

His Will was probated on 11 Nov 1858 in Oglethorpe, Georgia, United States.[1]
