Emma Amos the daughter of William Amos & Elizabeth Blanch was born on the Clarence River in what is called the Hunter River region of New South Wales, Australia in 1840.
She married William Bryant at Grafton in New South Wales, Australia in 1875. They went on to have about 11 children until Williams death in 1904.
Emma outlived her beloved William by nearly 40 years and finally at the age of 91 passed away at her daughter Leah Clifford's home at Goonellabah near Lismore in New South Wales, Australia. This was in October 1940 and she was mourned by her 8 surviving sons and daughters, 47 grandchildren and 47 great grand children.
Emma is buried at the Alphadale Cemetery (Wollongbar), Alphadale Road, Wollongbar, NSW.
