Francis was born about 1806 in Pattiswick, Essex, England[1]. Francis the son of Isaac & Mary AMES was baptised 23rd February 1806 at St. Mary the Virgin, Pattiswick, Essex, England.[2]

Francis AMOS of Pattiswick, bachelor married Mary RANN, of Kelvedon, spinster, by banns 18th March 1831 at St. Mary the Virgin, Pattiswick, Essex, England. Witnessed by James SHELLEY & Elizabeth RANN[3]

Francis Amos a gardener of the City of Nelson, in the province of Nelson in the Colony of New Zealand, died of stomach cancer on 10th January 1868.[4] and was buried at Wakapuaka Cemetery, Nelson, New Zealand[5]
