Mrs. Cynthia A. McGuire
Mrs. Cynthia Alice McGuire, 81, widow of Thomas G. McGuire, Route 1, Hardy, died Wednesday in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are eight children: J. T. McGuire, L. R. McGuire, and W. H. McGuire, Roanoke; Mrs. Annie Fisher and Frank O. McGuire, Hardy; James McGuire, Peru. Ind.; C. O. McGuire, Bassett; and Ernest M. McGuire, address unknown; also a brother, Lee Amos, Peru, Ind., and a sister, Betty Blankenship, Roanoke; 25 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at Ninevah Union Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the churchyard. The body will taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fisher, in Hardy, at 2 p.m. today.
