Note NI42514SEX: SOUR PAGE obituary DATA TEXT Thomas E. Amos, of South Abington Township, died Sunday morning in the hospice unit of Community Medical Center. His widow is the former Margaret Canning. Born in Quincy, Mass., son of the late John B CONC . and Annie Powers Amos, he was a resident of South Abington Township for the past seven years. He was a self-employed graphic artist and a Navy veteran of World War II, fighting in the Battle of Okin CONC awa. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and a graduate of the School of Practical Art, Boston. He was also a former Gideon and a board member of the Sunday Breakfast Association, Philadelphia CONC . Also surviving are a son, Glenn and wife, Jane, Clarks Summit; three daughters, Candace Amos, Barrington, Mass.; Marsha Todd and husband, John, Aloha, Oregon; and Cynthia Weber and husband, Eric, Ha CONC ddon Heights, N.J.; eight grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Venard Road, Clarks Summit, with the Rev. David Colver, past CONC or, officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 1 until service time, at the church.
