Jane Carolyn Amos was born October 4, 1852 in Alabama.
She married William Calvin Davis on June 10, 1875, DeKalb County, Alabama. Their children were:
- Margaret Florence Davis Barksdale (1876–1981)
- Reuben Erastus Davis (1883–1918)
- Patterson Isaiah Davis (1885–1938)
- Laura Belle Davis McPherson (1888–1966)
She died, at the age of 63, on January 25, 1916 in Rodentown, Alabama. She is buried at the Mount Flat Baptist Church Cemetery, Rodentown, DeKalb County, Alabama.[1]
