DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Susannah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Susannah:

Received this email from a fellow family researcher. Thought it might be a good note for further research:

From: Ellen C. Date: Mon, May 14, 2018, 4:22 PM Subject: Bernards/Barnards

There were at least two Barnard/Bernard lines that crossed paths with our Amos family in Fluvanna Co., VA. The John Bernard and Mary Abney line was on Cunningham Creek with the William and Lucy Amos who were the parents of our Lucy Amos. Both the Bernard's and the Amos' lived there in 1774 when our Lucy was 18 years old.

Lucy's sister Susannah Amos b. 16 Jan 1750 married John Moody s/o Edward Moody. Edward Moody had land on Cunningham Creek (according to a 1748 land record). He transferred some of that land to his son, John Moody. **John Moody received Susannah's slaves when William and Lucy gave slaves to their children in the 1793 Deed of Gift. Edward Moody sold land to Ashford Napier who later sold it to John Bernard, Jr and Elizabeth Barnett. One researcher claimed that John Bernard, Jr and Elizabeth Barnett along with the widow Lucy Amos Barnard sold land on Cunningham Creek ca 1796. I could never get into Don Blankenship's site to check that out.

The John Bernard and Mary Abney line has been mixed up with the Jean Bernard/John Barner and Anne Delpish line for so long that it is a real mess. The Abner Barnard who applied for land along with our Charles Barnard and William Amos may very well be a son of John Bernard and Mary Abney. I can't find any proof that John and Mary had any children other than John, Jr. Just coincidences. Proof exists that proves that Jean Bernard/John Barner and Anne Delpish were the parents of the other children claimed by the John Bernard and Mary Abney line. It is in the Huguenot records from Manakin, VA.
