George was born in Lunenburg County, Virginia in about 1785. He married Ann Bentley in 1807 in Lunenberg. They had 13 children together (Daniel, Martha Ann, George Washington, Henry D, Beverly C, John Wyatt, William, Wyatt, Millyan, James, Caroline F, Mary J, Susan C.). The family moved to Hancock County, Georgia in about 1811. He passed away in 1845, Hancock, Georgia, United States.
