Thomas Amos pass away. Thomas Amos died at his home in Colfax. Tuesday morning and was buried from his late residence on Thursday at two o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in the Colfax Cemetery. He was born in Scotland in 1831 and in 1843 and afterwards to Huron Co. Ontario where he lived until 1885 when he came to this state settled in Colfax. He leaves a widow and six children ... He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and bore his illness which was of several years duration with Christian fortitude. ...[1]
