In 1891 Archibald Amos (age 21, Scholar) was staying at College Terrace in Brighton, Sussex with his father James (62, Clerk in Holy Orders), sister Margaret (20), and servant Hannah Collins (55, House Keeper).[5] His stepmother and stepsiblings were at Bateman St in Cambridge.
In 1901 Archibald D C Amos (age 31, Assist Master) lived in Derby, Derbyshire [Assistant Master at Derby School, a grammar school for boys].[6]
Archibald Drakeford Cradock Amos, son of James Amos, married Florence Ada Leacroft, daughter of John William Leacroft, on 12 Apr 1904 at St James, Derby.[7]

In 1911 Archibald D C Amos (age 41, Inspector of Primary Schools for Birmingham Education Committee) lived at 19 Montague Road in Edgbaston, Worcestershire with his wife Florence A (28) and two daughters: Elaine Phyllis (4) and Isabel Mary (1), as well as visitor Arthur Harvey Dixon (35, Surgeon Dentist) and two servants: Jane Shaw (25, Nurse/Housemaid) and Caroline Parsons (29, Cook).[8]
Archibald D C Amos passed away on 13 Dec 1943, aged 74 years. His death was registered in Caernarvon, Caernarvonshire, Wales in the last quarter of the year.[9]
