Hi Heather,

I believe that William Armour died in England in 1875 as the Memorial in Kilmarnock states. It’s unfortunate that England’s registration records are difficult to obtain. I did see the death entry Sept 1875.as I was looking at census records to confirm that William was not found again in Scotland. Interesting enough I did find his brother Francis 1844 noted as b. Kilmarnock, pattern maker and living as a visitor in 1901 Chester England census. The household was not familiar to me but interesting.

Hello Linda,

I have found a family MI in St Andrews Churchyard, Kilmarnock for Robert & Charlotte (Frew) ARMOUR. It lists a number of their children including William where it states that he died 6 Sep 1875, Manchester ENG, 20yrs. I have found a death entry for a William in the ENG bdm - for Sep 1875, 20yrs in Vol 8d p,271. I'd be interested in your thoughts on this.
