Samuel Amster was born in Austria around 1840. [1]
He married Katherine (Kate) Kanengieser, who was also born in Austria.
They settled for some time in Newark, New Jersey where (at least some of) their children were born.
In 1910 he lived in Newark, New Jersey with his wife and daughter. [1]
