Fannie Amster was born March 18, 1890 in Newark, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Samuel Amster and Kate Kanengieser.

Iin 1950 Fannie and Samuel Bean traveled overseas and returned to New York City on the Queen Elizabeth, departing Cherbourg, France on May 10, 1950 and arriving at the Port of New York on May 15th, 1950. At that time they resided in Maplewood, New Jersey. [2]
She died Nov 18, 1972 in Maplewood, New Jersey [3] and is buried in Hillside, New Jersey at Oheb Shalom Cemetery. [4]
