Christian Ulrich Amstutz was born 20 Nov 1839, in Sigriswil, Bern, Schweiz (Switzerland). His parents were Johannes Amstutz and Katharina Schnegg. He married Mary Ann "Anna" Nussbaum 23 May 1861, in Berne, Adams County, Indiana (by Peter S Lehman). He then married Elizabeth Sommer in 1874, in Indiana. Christian Ulrich Amstutz passed away 22 Aug 1924, in Berne, Adams County, Indiana, at the age of 84, and was buried in the Hilty Cemetery, in Adams County, Indiana.[1][2][3]
